We, at Vinimay Trust, firmly believe that the work we do is not merely “giving back” but more a mutual exchange. “Vinimay” in Sanskrit, means an “exchange” and we strongly believe that we get back as much or even more than what we put in.

The Beneficiary is the Focus of all our activities

All of Vinimay’s efforts are focussed on what the beneficiary i.e. the underprivileged child/ youthrequire rather than what we want to give them.

Raise the average rather than hone excellence

We, at Vinimay, will accept the child/ youth as he/she is irrespective of his/ her physical, intellectual and social capabilities. We aim at raising the “average” rather than only grooming “excellence”.

Complementary and Facilitative

We, at Vinimay, believe in complementing the efforts of the Child Welfare Institutions (CWIs) in areas where we can be of assistance. We respect the CWIs for the work they do and understand their constraints.

Non Discriminatory Approach

We, at Vinimay adopt a non discriminatory approach towards the underprivileged children/ youth, volunteers, donors and well wishers with respect to their religion, social background and economic status.

Integrity

We, at Vinimay inculcate and practise integrity in all our work. We are transparent and believe in building honest relationships with our beneficiaries, donors, well wishers, volunteers and Child Welfare Institutions.
